The next step is to enter the Grand Sacred Mosque of Mecca for Tawaf. It is recommended to enter the mosque through the Bab-as-Salam Gate of Kaaba by placing your right foot in the mosque. The pilgrims must be in a state of ablution for making Tawaf of the Holy Kaaba. Tawaf starts from Hijr-e-Aswad (Black Stone) counterclockwise while reciting the supplications taught by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) to his ummah. Men should keep their right shoulder during the Tawaf of Kaaba, which is called Iddtibaa. At the end of Tawaf, men should cover their right shoulder.

After Tawaf of Holy Kaaba, the next stage is to complete seven rounds between two hills, Safa and Marwah, which is known as Sa'i and is an important ritual of the obligation of hajj and Umrah. Also recite the holy verses of the Qur'an and supplications while standing on both hills and during Sa'i among them.

After the completion of Sa'i, the pilgrims cut their hair. Men have to shave their heads or at least cut their hair. Women have to cut their hair up to an inch or two. This haircut of pilgrims is a symbol to show that the pilgrims have repented of their last sinful life and this is the beginning of their new life under the obedience and commandments of Allah (S.W.T).

His Umrah is now complete and the pilgrims can now leave the state of Ihram and wear their everyday clothes. They are also now free of all restrictions of the Ihram state.
